Les Oliviers is regarded as the greatest white-wine site in the Saint-Joseph appellation, farmed by brothers Jean and Pierre Gonon in Mauves, who have cultivated their vines without chemical inputs since 2004 and earned organic certification in 2010. Sitting on red clay and pebble soil above Tournon, across the river from Tain l’Hermitage, the wine blends 80% Marsanne and 20% Roussanne.

Aged 11 months in barrique and demi-muid on fine lees with regular stirring, the wine shows real depth and texture, considered one of the essential references of the appellation. It is a benchmark Saint-Joseph white from two brothers widely regarded among the finest producers in the Northern Rhone.
