Prelude is the signature cuvee of Domaine Jocelyne et Yves Lafoy, a three-generation Cote-Rotie family estate in Ampuis now led by son Gaetan. Made from several Cote Blonde plots, including Cote Blonde and Fongeant, the wine is 98% Syrah with 2% Viognier, aged 20 months in barrel.

Expect a fruity, floral Cote-Rotie with supple tannins, showing the elegant, more approachable side of this celebrated appellation. It is a polished, well-regarded expression from a respected family producer.
