2023 Thiriet Camille Les Blanches Pinot Noir 750ml

Les Blanches is a Bourgogne Rouge from Camille Thiriet, a micro-domaine created in 2016 that started with just 2,000 bottles made in a garage before growing to 6 hectares around Corgoloin. This particular bottling comes from a 90-year-old parcel in Pommard with distinctive argilo-calcareous soil marked by very white clays, which gives the wine its name.

The old vines produce very small yields with tiny, thick-skinned berries, and the 2023 shows expressive fresh cherry and white pepper character from partial whole-bunch fermentation. Though only entitled to the regional Bourgogne designation, this is old-vine Pommard fruit made by one of Burgundy’s most exciting young producers.
