Founder Louis Castaud spent ten years securing the appellation itself, finally achieving it in 1945.

Hand-picked and pressed immediately without skin contact, then fermented without added yeast and stopped by temperature control to retain natural sweetness, the wine shows a floral bouquet of rose and freesia evolving into citrus and exotic fruit.
