2023 Clos Cibonne Cuvée Tradition 1.5L

Cuvee Tradition is the classic rose from Clos Cibonne, the Provencal estate most responsible for reviving Tibouren since Andre Roux began replanting the grape in the 1930s. Like the domaine’s more limited Vignettes bottling, this wine is 90% Tibouren and 10% Grenache, grown on shale and clay soils near the Mediterranean coast at Le Pradet.

Expect a distinctive, savory rose with real depth and personality, standing apart from the pale, simple style common to much of Provence. Bottled in magnum, it is a great introduction to the estate’s serious, terroir-driven approach to rose.
