2023 Clos Cibonne Cuvée Prestige Olivier 1.5L

Clos Cibonne, located between Nice and Marseille in Le Pradet with vines cooled by Mediterranean sea spray, is the estate most responsible for reviving Tibouren, an old Provencal grape André Roux began replanting here in the 1930s. Cuvee Prestige Olivier, named for the fifth-generation family member who now runs the estate, blends Syrah, Grenache and Tibouren.

The grapes macerate for 12 days with daily pump-overs, fermenting with native yeast before a year of aging in new 300-liter fine-grain oak barrels. Bottled in magnum, this is a serious, structured red from Provence’s leading Tibouren specialist.
