2023 Chanterêves Matsuri 750ml

Chanterêves was founded in 2010 by husband-and-wife oenologists Tomoko Kuriyama and Guillaume Bott, working as négociant-vinificateurs from a micro-domaine in Savigny-lès-Beaune at the heart of the Côte de Beaune. Matsuri, named after the Japanese word for “festival” in a nod to Kuriyama’s heritage, is an original pét-nat blending Aligoté and Gamay, made in a tiny production of just three barrels a year.

Vinified with flotation and bottled with natural sparkle, the wine opens with bright red fruit and citrus. The palate delivers a light, festive effervescence with fresh, easy-drinking character.

With only three barrels made annually, Matsuri is a genuine rarity from one of Burgundy’s most creative natural wine producers, in high demand among natural wine collectors.
