Domaine Les Astrelles, previously known as Domaine Pierre Naigeon, was acquired in 2019 by Isabelle and Jean-Marie Chapier, who have revitalized the 14-hectare Gevrey-Chambertin estate with organic farming since cellar master Julien Millet joined in 2020. Les Martennes is their Hautes-Cotes de Nuits bottling.

Expect a full-bodied, well-structured Pinot Noir with silky, well-integrated tannins, driven by red fruit like raspberry, cherry and strawberry alongside delicate spice and a touch of earthiness. It is a compelling, revitalized-estate bottling from an under-the-radar Cote de Nuits appellation.
