Domaine Armand Rousseau, one of Burgundy’s most famous estates, produces this Ruchottes-Chambertin from the Clos des Ruchottes, a monopole parcel high on the Cote d’Or slope in Gevrey-Chambertin. Ruchottes-Chambertin is among the smallest of the Chambertin family of Grand Crus.

Expect a beautifully defined, floral bouquet with exquisite focus and control, the palate wonderfully balanced with supple tannins, fine acidity and impressive density carrying through to a black cherry and wild strawberry finish. It is one of the most sought-after and consistently excellent Grand Crus in all of Gevrey-Chambertin.
