This is Louis Billard’s Volnay, made by a fifth-generation winemaker from nearby La Rochepot who trained at Domaine de la Romanee-Conti and Domaine Georges Roumier before releasing his first vintage in 2022. Volnay is celebrated for producing some of the most perfumed, elegant Pinot Noir in the Cote de Beaune.
