Domaine Frederic Esmonin is a family estate in Gevrey-Chambertin farmed by Frederic alongside his parents Andre and Michele. Lavaut Saint-Jacques, one of three Premier Crus in their range, sits on the Combe de Lavaux slope just below Estournelles, and is aged with around 80% new oak.

Expect spice, structure and dark red fruit with a distinctive graphite undercurrent, a house style shaped by the significant new oak use. It is a bold, structured Premier Cru built for the cellar.
