2023 Domaine Tempier Lulu & Lucien 1.5L

Lulu & Lucien is Domaine Tempier’s blend of all three of its celebrated single vineyards, Migoua, Tourtine and Cabassaou, plus other estate holdings, named for Lucie “Lulu” Tempier and Lucien Peyraud, who took over the family farm in 1936 and became legends of Bandol. Fermented with natural yeast, macerated 2-3 weeks, and aged 18-20 months in large oak foudres, it is bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Expect a beautifully balanced Mourvedre-based red combining the power of Cabassaou, the structure of Tourtine and the perfume of Migoua into one harmonious whole. Bottled in magnum, it is the classic expression of this iconic Bandol estate.
