2023 Domaine Gangloff La Sereine Noire 750ml

La Sereine Noire is a signature cuvee from Domaine Gangloff, founded in Cote-Rotie in 1982 by Yves Gangloff after he apprenticed with Delas Freres, and now run alongside his daughter Mathilde. The wine is 100% old-vine Syrah, at least 50 years old, sourced from the Mollard and Cote Rozier lieux-dits, blending fruit from both the Cote Blonde and Cote Brune.

With 50-60% of stems removed and up to 24 months in 30-50% new French oak, the wine shows the floral elegance, silky texture and remarkable aging potential the estate is celebrated for. It is a benchmark, sought-after Cote-Rotie from one of the appellation’s most respected producers.
