Caroline Morey, eldest daughter of the famed Jean-Marc Morey, took a portion of her family’s vineyards in 2014 to start her own domaine, sharing a Chassagne-Montrachet winery with her husband, Pierre-Yves Colin. Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet is the smallest of the Montrachet family of Grand Crus, an exceptionally rare site.

Made from Chardonnay, the wine opens with rich, spice-laden white peach and pear, layered and creamy with great volume and power. The palate delivers density and salinity, balanced by vivid acidity and an energetic, mineral-driven finish.
