Didier Dagueneau was one of the most important and uncompromising figures in white wine history, transforming Pouilly-Fume through biodynamic farming and fanatical attention to detail before his death in 2008; his son Louis-Benjamin now carries the estate forward. Blanc Etc, formerly labeled Blanc Fume de Pouilly before the estate withdrew from the appellation system, blends fruit from younger vines across four vineyards on flinty clay and limestone soils, including declassified fruit from the Pur Sang, Buisson Renard and Silex cuvees.

Barrel-fermented and aged half in stainless steel, half in neutral barrels, the wine shows the precision and mineral drive that made Dagueneau’s Sauvignon Blanc legendary. It offers a genuine taste of this iconic estate’s winemaking at a more accessible level than its single-vineyard flagships.
