2022 Domaine Michel Lafarge Clos des Aigrots 750ml

Clos des Aigrots is a Beaune Premier Cru farmed by Domaine Michel Lafarge, the Volnay-based estate that fully embraced biodynamic farming in 1997, among the earliest adopters in Burgundy. The site includes old vines dating back to the late 1940s.

Generally brighter and less firm than the estate’s Greves, the wine shows real purity of fruit from its old vines, made with natural yeasts and rarely more than 15% new oak. It is a distinctive Beaune bottling from one of Burgundy’s most respected biodynamic producers.
