Domaine Christian Moreau Pere et Fils has been settled in the heart of Chablis since 2001 and certified organic since 2013. Valmur, their Grand Cru holding, sits in a small valley between Les Clos and Vaudesir, with two parcels totaling one hectare of vines over 60 years old, mostly southeast-facing.

Made 40% in stainless steel and 60% in barrel with under 5% new oak, followed by six months in tank, the wine shows a more old-school, reserved style with green, apple-like fruit and real stoniness. Recent vintages have scored as high as 95 points from Tim Atkin, cementing this as a benchmark Chablis Grand Cru.
