2022 Chauvet Henri A Fleur de Peau 1.5L

Domaine Henri Chauvet farms steep, volcanic slopes in Boudes, in the lesser-known Cotes d’Auvergne region rather than Burgundy or Beaujolais. A Fleur de Peau comes from a very small parcel of old Chardonnay vines on basalt and fractured limestone, macerated a week on the skins before a long, gentle pneumatic pressing and nine months aging in old 400L and 228L barrels, unfined and unfiltered.
