Estate History and Heritage

The Ganevat family has farmed vineyards in the southern Jura village of Rotalier since 1650. Specifically, Jean-François “Fanfan” Ganevat returned to the estate in 1998 after honing his skills in Chassagne-Montrachet. Moreover, he eliminated all added sulfur and embraced biodynamics, aging his wines for years on fine lees.
