2013 Domaine de la Grange des Pères Blanc: Rarity from Aniane
The 2013 Domaine de la Grange des Pères Hérault Blanc 750ml is an artisanal collector rarity of stunning tensile grace and mineral cut. In particular, this scarce white cuvée blends Roussanne, Marsanne, and Chardonnay grown on high-altitude limestone terraces in Aniane. In addition, the cool and late 2013 harvest produced fruit with remarkable natural acidity, delicate floral aromas, and vibrant energy.
Tasting Notes for 2013 Grange des Pères Blanc
The wine opens with alluring aromas of white peach, lemon oil, beeswax, acacia blossom, and crushed limestone. Furthermore, delicate tertiary layers of toasted almond, chamomile, and wet river stones reveal themselves with aeration. On the palate, a textured and oily mouthfeel is effortlessly lifted by driving mineral acidity. Consequently, the finish lingers with mouthwatering salinity, stony grip, and profound persistence.

Estate History and Heritage
Domaine de la Grange des Pères was founded in 1989 by the late, visionary vigneron Laurent Vaillé. Specifically, Laurent trained under masters like Coche-Dury, Chave, and Trévallon before returning to carve out limestone terraces in Aniane. Moreover, his white wine is produced in minuscule quantities compared to the red, making it one of France’s ultimate rarities.
Today, bottles from Grange des Pères Blanc are fiercely sought after by world-class collectors and sommeliers. As a result, this 2013 vintage stands as an everlasting monument to Laurent Vaillé’s winemaking genius.
