Tasting Notes for 1990 Domaine Jean Grivot Les Suchots

The wine opens with mature aromas of dried black cherry, sous-bois, dried rose petals, leather, and black truffle. Furthermore, nuanced notes of iron minerality, black tea, and warming spices unfold with aeration. On the palate, silky, fully resolved tannins frame a savory mid-palate of dried dark berries. Consequently, the finish lingers with noble Burgundian poise, earthy complexity, and enduring freshness.
