2010 Dom Pérignon x Damien Hirst Rosé Limited Edition
The 2010 Dom Pérignon Damien Hirst Rosé Limited Edition combines an acclaimed vintage rosé Champagne with a vibrant collector design by British contemporary artist Damien Hirst. Released as part of Dom Pérignon’s 2026 artist collaboration, this edition features a warm pink Kaleidoscope Shield across the bottle and matching presentation case.
Inside the artist-designed bottle is Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2010, a Pinot Noir-led Champagne aged for nearly 15 years in the house’s cellars. Consequently, the wine offers the intensity of ripe red fruit alongside remarkable precision, silky texture, and a long saline finish.
The Damien Hirst Kaleidoscope Shield
Damien Hirst drew inspiration from his celebrated Kaleidoscope paintings to reinterpret Dom Pérignon’s iconic shield. Repeating shield shapes form a symmetrical design inspired by colorful butterfly-wing patterns.
For Rosé Vintage 2010, Hirst selected warm shades of pink, red, and magenta to express the intensity and generosity of Pinot Noir. Moreover, the coordinated bottle and collector case transform the release into a striking display piece for both Champagne and contemporary art collectors.
The rosé accompanies a deep-blue Damien Hirst edition of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2018. Together, the two bottles form Dom Pérignon’s 2026 Damien Hirst limited-edition collection.
The Challenging 2010 Vintage
The 2010 growing season presented Champagne with unusually difficult conditions. A cold beginning and dry summer gave way to intense August rainfall, which created significant botrytis pressure, particularly for Pinot Noir.
Therefore, Dom Pérignon imposed an exceptionally strict selection during harvest. The house retained only healthy grapes with the concentration, ripeness, and structure required for its prestige rosé.
This careful selection produced a Champagne of contrasts. It combines depth with freshness, intensity with elegance, and Pinot Noir power with the mineral precision of Chardonnay.
Blend and Winemaking
Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2010 combines 56% Pinot Noir and 44% Chardonnay. The blend includes approximately 11% still red Pinot Noir, which contributes color, aromatic intensity, and structural depth without overwhelming the Champagne’s finesse.
Additionally, extended cellar maturation allowed the fruit, spice, cocoa, and mineral elements to integrate. The resulting Champagne is powerful yet controlled, with fine bubbles and a dense, silky texture.

Food Pairing
Pair this Champagne with bluefin tuna, lobster, sea urchin, seared scallops, duck, Wagyu beef, glazed pork, or delicately spiced cuisine. Its red-fruit character also works beautifully with dishes featuring beets, turnips, citrus, or restrained savory sauces.
Serving and Cellaring
Serve Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2010 between 50°F and 54°F in a tulip-shaped Champagne or white-wine glass. Allow several minutes for the wine to open and reveal its red fruit, cocoa, spice, and mineral complexity.
The wine already offers impressive integration. However, its structure, precision, and extended maturation should support further development when stored horizontally in a cool, dark, temperature-controlled cellar.
