Rare Collects Return & Cancellation Policy
Thank you for shopping with Rare Collects. Please note that this policy applies solely to purchases made through our online store. Transactions made at our physical retail locations are governed by a separate in-store return policy.
Age and Legal Compliance
Pursuant to applicable federal and Florida state law, access to and purchases from this website are restricted to individuals who are at least 21 years of age. By visiting or transacting on this website, you affirm that you meet this legal requirement.
Individuals under the age of 21 are prohibited from using this website or placing orders.
General Policy
Rare Collects, LLC (“Rare Collects”) is a Florida-based retailer specializing in the sale of premium and rare wines, spirits, and champagnes.
Due to the highly regulated nature of alcoholic beverage sales and the unique, collectible character of our products, all sales are final.
As a general policy, Rare Collects does not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has shipped.
However, customer satisfaction remains a priority, and we may — in our sole discretion — review refund or exchange requests on a case-by-case basis under limited circumstances, as outlined below.
Order Cancellation Policy
Customers may request to cancel an order within 24 hours of placement, provided that the order has not yet been packaged or shipped.
Approved cancellations are subject to a restocking fee of ten percent (10%) of the order total to cover administrative and transactional expenses.
Damaged or Incorrect Merchandise
Rare Collects takes significant care in packaging and fulfillment to minimize risk of damage or error.
In the rare event of a problem:
- Customers must notify Rare Collects of any material damage within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.
- Notification must include photographic evidence of the damage to both the product and packaging.
- Customers who receive merchandise inconsistent with their order confirmation should contact Rare Collects immediately.
Where feasible, we will facilitate shipment of the correct item upon return of the incorrect item using a pre-paid return label provided by Rare Collects.
If the originally ordered item is no longer available, a store credit equal to the purchase price of the incorrect item will be issued.
Failed Delivery and Returned Shipments
If a shipment is returned to Rare Collects due to:
- Unsuccessful delivery attempts,
- Refusal of delivery, or
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer,
Rare Collects reserves the right to deduct a restocking fee of twenty-five percent (25%) of the purchase price from any applicable refund.
Shipping fees are non-refundable.
For orders originally shipped under promotional “free shipping” terms, a $40.00 shipping and handling fee will be deducted from any refund.
If a returned shipment arrives damaged as a result of failed delivery attempts or refusal, the customer remains liable for the full cost of the order.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to legal and product-specific considerations, Rare Collects cannot accept returns or exchanges on the following:
- Opened or partially consumed bottles
- Personalized, engraved, or custom-order items
- Allocated, rare, or limited-edition products
- Gift cards
- Items purchased on sale or clearance
Refund Processing
All sales are final, and refunds are only issued on a case-by-case basis upon written request and approval.
To initiate a refund request, customers must email Rare@rarecollects.com within seven (7) days of delivery.
Once a refund is approved by Rare Collects management, it will be processed within seven (7) business days of receiving the request.
Refunds are subject to a restocking fee of twenty-five percent (25%) of the purchase price, and all shipping costs are non-refundable.
Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment and may take an additional 7–10 business days to appear on the customer’s account, depending on the policies of the customer’s bank or credit card provider.
